Short answer. On a yearly plan the draft rules ask for two reminders before every renewal and a fresh cooling-off notice at each renewal. Our suggested defaults are 30 days and 7 days before.
Annual plans carry the heaviest duties because a year is a long commitment to renew without noticing.
- Two reminders before each renewal: early and final.
- A new 14-day cooling-off period starts at each renewal.
- Reminders and cooling-off notices are always sent separately.

Questions
Why two reminders?
The draft asks for an extra, earlier reminder on terms of 12 months or more. The exact sequencing is still to be confirmed.
